Lido Bar is a tradition in Asunción for local cuisine in a very casual environment. It serves typical Paraguayan food as well as lunches and dinners. There is a Lido Bar in downtown / centro, but this is the one over in Villa Morra. The Paraguayos like to eat empanadas and sandwich de lomito here. They also serve delicious peach juice and pineapple juice at Lido. And if you haven’t yet tried sopa de surubí, give it a try.

The feel inside is of a common bar, with lunch and dinner served at reasonable prices. The staff will speedily attend to your orders and will do so with a smile. You really can’t go wrong.
